BIAS 2025 takes place on the platform of Băneasa – Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, right in the heart of the capital. The location offers perfect visibility for the breathtaking aerial demonstrations, as well as dedicated areas for the General Aviation Exhibition, public activities, and exhibitor stands.

The General Aviation Exhibition unveils the fascinating world of flight – from training opportunities for a career as a civil or military pilot, to suppliers of equipment, services, and facilities that ensure safety and comfort in aviation.

The event unfolds across 3 specially designed hangars, featuring over 50 exhibition stands and dedicated areas for aircraft displayed on the ground.

How to get to BIAS

By plane

Henri Coandă International Airport – Otopeni (15 km away)

By train

Gara de Nord → transfer by taxi, rideshare, or public transport (~20 min)

By car

Parking spaces near the airport are limited. To avoid crowds, we recommend public transportation or ridesharing. Heavy traffic is expected on Calea București–Ploiești, Aerogării Avenue and Ion Ionescu Avenue from Brad.

By public transport

Express bus BIAS: 737 (Piața Victoriei – ROMAERO). Buses: 100, 112, 131, 203, 205, 261, 301, 304, 330, 335, 605. Metro: Aurel Vlaicu Station (M2) + 10 minutes walking.

BIAS Public Transport

To avoid congestion, we recommend using public transport. Especially for BIAS 2025, TPBI is introducing the dedicated bus line 737 and increasing the number of vehicles on line 605 (August 30 – between 09:00–22:30, August 31 – between 09:00–17:00).

The special 737 line will operate during all three days of the event, providing a fast connection between 'Băneasa Airport' (end of line 605) and Piața Victoriei, following the route:

  • "Aeroport Băneasa"
  • Str. Grațioasă
  • Bd. Aerogării
  • Pasaj Băneasa
  • Str. Nicolae G. Caramfil
  • Bd. Beijing
  • Bd. Aviatorilor
  • "Piața Victoriei" and return

On the route towards Piața Victoriei, the buses will stop at the following stations:

  • "Aeroport Băneasa"
  • "Piața Băneasa"
  • "Hotel Phoenicia"
  • "Piața Victoriei"

On the return route, the buses will stop at the following stations:

  • "Piața Victoriei"
  • "Piața Charles de Gaulle"
  • "Apicola"
  • "Piața Băneasa"
  • "Aeroport Băneasa"
