Red Arrows – first time in Romania, at BIAS 2025

The Red Arrows are one of the most renowned aerobatic teams in the world, known for their spectacular manoeuvres and absolute precision. The team flies BAE Hawk T1 aircraft and is composed of 9 pilots and over 90 support crew members. Throughout their career, the Red Arrows have performed over 4,800 displays worldwide.
At BIAS 2025, the Red Arrows will deliver an impressive flypast.

The iconic “Diamond Nine” formation (nine aircraft flying in a diamond shape) requires perfect synchronization, with only a few centimetres of tolerance between planes, reaching speeds of up to 1.000 km/h. The team uses colored smoke (red, white, and blue) not only to enhance the visual effect but also to help monitor wind conditions and aircraft positioning in the sky.

The moment at BIAS will offer the Romanian audience a spectacular sight and a lesson in courage and precision. This flight will follow a trajectory similar to the one performed annually over Buckingham Palace during official British ceremonies.
