Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS), the largest aviation event in Romania and one of the most important in Europe, takes a revolutionary step today, August 18, 2025, together with the National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest), by launching its official NFT collection “Cloud Chasers”.

This unique digital collection offers fans, enthusiasts, and collectors the opportunity to own a part of the history of air shows, secured and authenticated through blockchain technology.

What are NFTs and what do “Cloud Chasers” bring?

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are unique digital certificates stored on the blockchain, proving ownership and authenticity of a digital object. Unlike other digital files, NFTs cannot be copied or replaced—each one is unique in its own way.

The “Cloud Chasers” collection captures the most spectacular moments in the history of BIAS, with exclusive images from past editions, transformed into digital artworks that bring to life every flight and aerial maneuver.

What does the collection include?

The collection is limited to 50 NFTs.

• 15 special “Stratosphere VIP” editions provide exclusive access to real-life aviation experiences, such as meeting pilots, fast-track access to autograph sessions, and entry into the show’s VIP area.
  
• The remaining 35 “Sky Legends” NFTs artistically recreate key moments from BIAS performances, offering a unique digital experience.
  

How can collectors purchase them?

All “Cloud Chasers” NFTs are available on the official ICI D|SERVICES platform: nft.ici.ro, developed by ICI Bucharest. Users can purchase NFTs using digital wallets compatible with the MultiversX (EGLD) blockchain technology. This way, collectors from around the world can keep an authentic fragment of the BIAS atmosphere in a modern and secure format.
