Access rules and recommendations for a safe experience at BIAS 2025

Access to the Bucharest International Air Show – BIAS 2025 is free of charge, but for the safety of all participants, the organizers enforce a set of clear rules regarding behavior, permitted items, and recommendations for an enjoyable and incident-free experience.

Entry to the exhibition and show area with dangerous objects, prohibited substances, or equipment that could endanger flight safety or the safety of those present is strictly forbidden. The organizers reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who does not comply with these rules.

Please review the rules below before attending. Respecting them ensures the smooth running of the event and helps maintain a safe environment for all visitors.

What is allowed

  • Access with plastic bottles (water, soft drinks – sealed)
  • Headphones
  • Small backpacks
  • Baby strollers
  • Photo/video cameras
  • Pets (on a leash or with a muzzle, as applicable)

What is not allowed

  • Glass bottles and metal containers
  • Alcoholic beverages or prohibited substances
  • Weapons, blunt objects, explosives, or dangerous items
  • Drones or other remotely controlled flying devices
  • Large umbrellas or bulky items
  • Large objects that may obstruct the view of other spectators (e.g., oversized folding chairs)
  • Political propaganda banners or offensive messages
  • Scooters, bicycles, hoverboards in the spectators’ area

Recommendations for a safe and enjoyable experience at BIAS 2025

General recommendations for visitors

  • Arrive early! Public access opens at 08:00, but crowds form quickly.
  • Wear light and comfortable clothing, a cap/hat, and use sunscreen.
  • Stay hydrated – water points and food trucks will be available in designated areas.
  • Follow the instructions of organizers, volunteers, and security forces. Everyone’s safety is the top priority.

Access for minors

  • Children under 14 may attend the event only if accompanied by an adult.
  • It is recommended that minors wear an identification bracelet including the name and phone number of the accompanying adult.
  • Make sure children are dressed appropriately and protected from the sun throughout the day.

Access for persons with reduced mobility

  • At BIAS, special areas are available for persons with reduced mobility.
  • To ensure a pleasant and accessible experience for all participants, a dedicated area will be arranged within the Bucharest International Air Show.
  • This area will be clearly marked and positioned to provide optimal visibility of the aerial displays, while also ensuring safe and easy access.
  • The organizing team is committed to making the airshow an enjoyable experience for all spectators.
