Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS)
Bucharest International Air Show & General Aviation Exhibition (BIAS) is the largest air show in Romania, held at Bucharest Băneasa – “Aurel Vlaicu” International Airport.
BIAS places Bucharest on the world map of air shows. It is a public aviation event dedicated to celebrating and promoting aviation from all eras and from all around the globe.
BIAS is the event for everyone working in aviation: pilots, flight crews, air traffic controllers, airlines, flight schools, ground handling companies, aviation authorities, ground support staff, airport personnel, equipment manufacturers and distributors, as well as representatives of military, civil, and sport aviation.
The event gathers journalists and spotters from Romania and abroad, with impressive media coverage.
Since 2009, BIAS has been a success story written year after year.
The event is organized by Bucharest Airports National Company, together with the Romanian Air Force, Aeroclub of Romania, Romaero, Romatsa, and AIBO Sports Club.

An outstanding air show
Aerobatic demonstrations, synchronized formations, and displays featuring civil, fighter, and transport aircraft – Romanian and international pilots deliver low-altitude flights full of adrenaline and visual impact.
General Aviation Exhibition
Civil and military aircraft, light and ultralight planes, and aviation equipment. Exhibitors include manufacturers, flight schools, airlines, and industry suppliers.
Diverse international participation
Aircraft and crews from dozens of countries. Over the years, BIAS has hosted renowned teams such as the Turkish Stars, Frecce Tricolori, Baltic Bees, and Flying Bulls, alongside the Hawks of Romania, Iacării Acrobați, and White Wings.
An event for everyone
Admission is free, and the atmosphere blends the adrenaline of the air show with relaxation areas, children’s activities, food stands, a concert, and a fireworks display.
